Cooking at home is the best way to save cash, but it’s nice to go out sometimes, too. Check out Frugal Foodie every Friday for a selection of the latest coupons for casual and fancy fare.

This week: free pancakes, BOGO coffee beverages at Peet’s, a year’s worth of breakfast sandwiches and restaurant week prix fixes, among other deals.

1. IHOP

Stop by on March 1 for National Pancake Day and get a free short stack. Must arrive between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Participating locations only.

2. Steel Restaurant & Lounge

The Atlanta restaurant offers free Maki rolls during happy hour every Wednesday.

3. Chili’s

EatDrinkDeals.com found a print out coupon good for a free kids meal on Feb. 21 or 22 with the purchase of an adult entrée. Participating locations only.

4. IKEA

Eat for free through Feb. 21 when you make a home furnishing purchase of at least $100.

5. Peet’s

Get a free beverage with the purchase of another when you use a print out coupon. Participating locations only. Ends Feb. 20.

6. Einstein Bros. Bagels

The first 50 visitors to the new University of Alabama at Birmingham location on Feb. 23 will receive coupons for one free breakfast sandwich each week for a year.

7. Sonic

RestaurantCouponsandDeals.com spotted a print out coupon good for buy-one, get-one-free Sonic burgers. Participating locations only. Good through Feb. 28.

8. Chicago Restaurant Week

Through February 27, participating Chicago-area restaurants are offering $22 lunches and dinners for $33 or $44.

9. Atlantic City Restaurant Week

Through March 5, participating restaurants are offering lunches for $15.11 and dinners for $33.11.
