Cooking at home is the best way to save cash, but it’s nice to go out sometimes, too. Check out Frugal Foodie every Friday for a selection of the latest coupons for casual and fancy fare.

This week: free macarons and milkshakes, kids-eat-free deals and cheap bagels, among other deals.

1. Macaron Day

On March 20, get a free macaron at participating New York restaurants. While supplies last.

2. O’ Charley’s

Facebook fans can get a print out coupon good for a free kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult entrée. Participating locations only. Good through March 20.

3. Belgian Restaurant Week

From March 23 to 30, participating Belgian restaurants in New York are offering a variety of daily specials, including $1 drinks, kids eat free and prix fixe menus.

4. Carino’s Italian

Use a print out coupon to get a free kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult entrée. Participating locations only. Good through March 20.

5. Sushi Niji

Get a free glass of wine with dinner when you eat between 5 and 10 p.m. at this Rivertowns, N.Y., restaurant.

6. Einstein Bros. Bagels

EatDrinkDeals.com spotted a deal for $4 off a bagel bucket with a print out coupon. Participating locations only. Expires April 6.

7. Santana Row

From Monday through Thursday, eat a $20 meal at participating San Ramon, Calif., restaurants and get a free movie ticket worth $7.75 for a nearby theater.

8. Friendly’s

Get a free milkshake with the purchase of any entrée and a print out coupon. Participating locations only. Deal ends March 20.

9. Troy Restaurant Week

From March 20 to 25, participating Troy, Mich., restaurants are offering $15 lunches, and dinners for $25 or $35.

10. Buca di Beppo

Get a free order of baked ziti with any entrée purchase when you use a print our coupon. Participating locations only. Expires March 31.
