This week: free root beer floats, kids meals and two-for-one burgers, among other deals!

1. A&W

Become a Facebook fan of the chain and get a print out coupon good for a free root beer float with any purchase. Offer good through August 21.

2. IHOP

Dealnews.com spotted this August deal, which lets kids eat free between 4 and 10 p.m. One free kids meal per adult meal purchased. Kids must be age 12 or younger. Participating locations only. Offer ends August 31.

3. Worcester Restaurant Week

Participating restaurants in the Massachusetts city are offering a special three-course dinner menu for $22.10. Promotion runs through August 15.

4. BJ’s Brewhouse

A new promotion offers a Party for Two — two small soups or salads, a medium specialty pizza and a signature Pizooki dessert — for $19.99. (Regularly, you might pay as much as $37.20 for the combo items, depending on the selection.) Participating locations only.

5. Houston Restaurant Week

Through August 21, participating restaurants offer $20 two-course lunches and $35 three-course dinners. $3 per lunch and $5 per dinner is donated to the Houston Food Bank.

6. Orange Julius

Bring in a print out coupon to get a 20-ounce fruit drink for just $2.99. One per customer. Participating locations only. Offer expires August 31.

7. OpenTable.com

The free online reservation system has joined the flash sale craze (a la Groupon.com or LivingSocial.com) with Spotlight, weekly offers for local restaurants. You’ll pay $25 for $50 worth of food.

8. Pick Up Stix

Buy one entree and a drink and get a second entree free when you present a print out coupon. Not valid on Dragon Deals value menu and other select menu items. Participating locations only. Good through August 14.

9. Harrah’s Las Vegas

AZCentral.com tipped readers to a twitter special on Las Vegas casino Harrah’s feed: a coupon good for two-for-one burgers at its new Kerry Simon KGB hamburger restaurant. Deal good through October 31.
