Cooking at home is the best way to save cash, but it’s nice to go out sometimes, too. Check out Frugal Foodie every Friday for a selection of the latest coupons for casual and fancy fare.

This week: free chicken nuggets, half-priced appetizers and beer brunches, among other deals.

1. Chick-fil-A

Get a free eight-count order of spicy chicken nuggets when you make a reservation for sometime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 2. Select areas only (Augusta, Ga.; Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio; Denver, Colo., and all of Maryland). Participating locations only.

2. O’Charleys

Use a print out coupon to get $5 off a purchase of $20 or more. Participating locations only. Good through Sept. 26. The chain is also offering a special of two select entrees for $14.99.

3. Tasting Table Late Brunch Series

New Yorkers can take advantage of a partnership between Stella Artois and foodie newsletter Tasting Table. Get two courses and two Stella Artois beers for $25 at a different restaurant each week through November 20.

4. Hardees

EatDrinkDeals.com spotted a deal good for a free order of small fries and a soda when you purchase a five-piece breaded chicken nuggets and present a print out coupon. Participating locations only. Offer expires Nov. 1.

5. Legal Sea Foods Oyster Festival

Through Oct. 17, visitors to this restaurant group in the Northeast can enjoy a variety of oyster specials, including $1 oysters at the Cambridge, Mass., location on Sept. 26 from 2-5 p.m.

6. T.G.I. Friday’s

Save 50% on select appetizers through Sept. 26 with a print out coupon. Participating locations only.

7. Don Pablo

StarTribune.com called out this Richfield, Minn. Restaurant for its tasty and cheap all-you-can-eat Taco Tuesday, which costs just $6.99.

8. Arizona Restaurant Week

Through Sept. 26, participating restaurants in cities throughout the state will offer three-course meals for $19, $29 or $39.
