We’re all very familiar with images on the currency that we exchange every day, featuring the faces of our forefathers and other notable public figures. However, there is other legal tender that is far less common. Some of these notes were produced in commemorative editions, while others earn their rarity as a result of the impracticality of carrying so much money around. Here’s a collection of unique and large-denomination bills from various currencies around the world.
