It’s that time of year again — time to deck the halls, bust out the decorations and brave the stores for all your holiday shopping needs.

Holiday shoppers are expected to spend an average of $749.51 on gifts, decorations, food, and other items to celebrate the season. A closer look at the figures shows discrepancies between how men and women will spend their money, when they will start their shopping, and where they will do it.
