Halloween is one of America’s biggest revenue-generating holidays. And get this: the tradition thrived even during the spooky economy of the past couple of years. Costume sales jumped 5.1% in 2008 and another 2.4% in 2009, according to industry research comapny IBISWorld. In all, the horror business is… well, horrifying big.
