Mint.com was honored with not one but two Webby Awards this month: Best Financial Services Website and Best Banking/Bill Pay Website. Since we won in the People’s Voice category, that means a lot of people on the Web voted for us. So, thank you! To paraphrase the immortal words of Sally Field, “You like us, you really like us!”. Speaking of famous acceptance speeches, we’d like to make one (or two) at the Webby Awards ceremony on June 9th. And since we’re largely engineers, not comedians, we need your help. The Webby people require that every speech be 5 words or less. We love that, as we’re into simplicity and time-saving, too. We’re curious to know: What would you say? Remember, we need two, 5 word speeches…or we could do one, 10 word speech delivered in two parts. For inspiration, here are some of the Hall of Fame Webby speeches: Al Gore: “Please don’t recount this vote” Beastie Boys: “Can anyone fix my computer?” Prince: “Everything you think is true.” What’s your best idea? Full credit, and Mint t-shirts to the winning entry! Update: This contest is now closed.
