Forget what they say — you can take it with you. We’ve made it easier than ever to manage your money on-the-go by updating our award-winning iPhone app. Now you can register for a new Mint.com account and add financial accounts right from your smart phone. We’ve made navigation much simpler by eliminating the tabbed interface and adding the ability to search for transactions either within an account or across accounts. And the iPhone app is still the best way to get the most up-to-the minute account balances for bank, credit card and investment accounts; view automatically categorized recent transactions; receive alerts on spending versus personalized budgets and cash flow; and see investment performance. You can edit transaction details (category, tag, description, note and date) right from the phone, update all of the info for your financial institutions (did you know we now support 16,000 of them?) and safeguard all of your information with a four-digit passcode — all without ever having to visit the web site. Our users are passionate about mobile technology. More than 1 million Mint.com users already take their accounts with them on their smartphones, and we’ve noticed that mobile users are more active than Web-only users. We’ll continue to update the iPhone app to give you a complete mobile solution for managing your money. And before we get hundreds of comments from upset Android fans, rest assured: a new version of the Android app is coming later this year.
