Mint.com’s personal finance tool was awarded top honors by some of the titans of the online banking industry on Tuesday, October 2, 2007. Mint was one of just twenty companies invited to present at the FINOVATE 2007 conference organized by Jim Bruene, the digital banking guru.

The bankers and entrepreneurs attending this event — focused exclusively on companies delivering disruptive innovation in the financial services space — voted Mint.com “Best in Show” along with internet pioneers Prosper and Mortgagebot. We appreciate the honor, as the competition included industry heavyweights such as Intuit and CheckFree, as well as Web 2.0 players.

Thanks to all of the bloggers and users who are getting the word out about Mint.com. It’s because of you that we’re now on the radar of these big players and getting great opportunities to tell our story.
